Live. Raw. Real. Every week in Harlem.
Welcome to the Atelier Harlem Pop-Up — a bold new performance series curated by Anthony Tidd, with a mission to bring improvised creative music of the African Diaspora back to the heart of Harlem.
Reminiscent of Harlem’s Great Renaissance a century ago, the series embodies a spirit of spontaneous development, workshop-like collaboration, and heightened creativity — where ideas are tested, boundaries are blurred, and new forms emerge in real time, with the audience as part of the process.

It also invites those with greater means to contribute at a level that feels right for them, helping sustain the artists and the community behind the work.
